Good Friends Music (“Good Friends,” “we,” or “us”) operates goodfriendsmusicfest.com. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Manchester, Tennessee. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and what we do with it.
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. Ever.
Information We Collect
- Vendor and sponsor applications. Our vendor and sponsorship forms are hosted by Google Forms. When you submit one, we receive the information you enter, which typically includes your name, business name, email address, phone number, and a description of what you would bring to the festival.
- Donations. Donations are processed by Stripe. Stripe collects and stores your payment card details directly; we never see or store full card numbers. We receive the donation amount and the name and email address you provide so we can acknowledge your gift.
- Messages you send us. If you email or call us, we keep your message and contact details so we can respond.
- Basic usage analytics. We use Vercel Analytics to understand which pages people visit. It reports aggregate, anonymized traffic data. It does not use cookies and does not track individuals across other websites.
How We Use Your Information
- To review and respond to vendor and sponsorship applications
- To process donations and send acknowledgements or tax receipts
- To answer questions you send us
- To share festival updates with people who asked to hear from us
- To understand, in aggregate, how the website is used so we can improve it
We do not use your information for automated decision-making, and we do not run third-party advertising on this website.
Service Providers We Share Data With
We share information only with the vendors that make this website work, and only to the extent they need it to provide their service:
- Google hosts our application forms and our email account
- Stripe processes donations
- Vercel hosts this website and provides aggregate analytics
Each of these companies handles your data under its own privacy policy. We may also disclose information if we are legally required to do so.
Cookies
This website does not set advertising or tracking cookies of its own. Embedded Google Forms and the Stripe donation button may set cookies that are necessary for those services to function. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though doing so may prevent the donation button or application forms from working.
