Fang Distortion

Fang Distortion is The Chord Collective’s Electric-level band — the program’s more advanced group. The lineup features Ethan (18) on guitar, Izzy (13) on guitar, Isa (13) on bass, Lily (13) on drums, and Trinity (12) on keys. The band’s sound leans into ’90s alternative and grunge, with a set built around The Cranberries’ "Zombie," Nirvana’s "Smells Like Teen Spirit," and Jimmy Eat World’s "The Middle" — songs chosen for their raw energy and singable hooks. The band is excited to bring that same energy to the Good Friends Music Festival stage. The Chord Collective is a youth rock band program based in the Manchester/Tullahoma/Normandy, Tennessee area, founded in 2026 by director Kevin Auwarter.
